VISION Statement for the Foundation:

The vision of the POW/MIA Foundation is to create awareness in the local and national community funded by contributions and fund-raising events. Funds received will enable surviving family members from the Vietnam era as well as those service members wounded returning stateside from recent wars, to be able to obtain peace and comfort from the Foundation's programs. A primary effort of the Foundation will be focusing on sending surviving families to Washington, D.C. to visit all the war memorials.

MISSION Statement for the Foundation:

The mission of the POW/MIA Foundation is to assist veterans and their families in time of need. The mission will be accomplished through the effective and fiscally-responsible planning, development, management and marketing of the Foundation's assets and programs.

Values of the Foundation:

Honesty, Trust, Integrity and Diligence

Attributes of the Foundation:

Concentrate on the needs of fallen soldiers and their families
Obtain necessary resources to fulfill Foundation commitments
Unrestricted and effective communication
Rely on our strengths to see the correct solution for each individual need/request

Goal orientated
Encourage innovation and creative thought, and seek continuous improvement.

If you look at the first letter of each attribute of the Foundation you will see it spells "COURAGE". That is what everyone of our POW-MIA'S have or had for us and their country.
